Ann Parker and Avon Neal Gravestone Rubbings
This collection comprises 30 framed gravestone rubbings created by artists Ann Parker and Avon Neal in 1963, depicting gravestone imagery from 17th and 18th-century New England.
Barbara and Lawrence Holdridge Papers
After purchasing an Ammi Phillips painting in 1958, the Holdridges began their extensive research into the artist’s life and work. Their research identified more than three hundred portraits done by Phillips and proved the theory that A. Phillips, the Border Limner, and the Kent Limner were all one artist, Ammi Phillips. The collection includes correspondence, photographs, and research notes related to the Holdridges' Ammi Phillips research.
Bratton Family Collection
The Bratton Family Collection is composed of materials related to the lives, work, and artwork of mother and daughter Florence Dodge Morton Bratton and Theodora Merrill Bratton Rackle, respectively. The collection includes two of Bratton’s personal journals, The Sunbonnet Babies Primer by Eulalie Osgood Grover, and scans of biographical and photographic secondary source material related to the artists and their work with textiles.

Business cards and brochure from Leo, Ransford, and Bradford Naugler
This collection consists of seven business cards and a copy of a brochure created by Bradford, Ransford and Leo Naugler. All handwritten and some colorfully decorated, these materials give a brief glimpse into the advertising and business practices of three of Nova Scotia’s most celebrated folk artists.
