Photos separated from pamphlet 1, undated
The Journal and Pamphlet series was arranged by type, then chronologically when applicable.
Pamphlet 1 contains math problems, and pamphlet 2 contains historical clippings, maps, and drawings. The binding on pamphlet 2 has come off and is particularly delicate.
Some materials have been separated from Journal 1 and placed in folders in Box 3 of the collection.

On some cards, information is printed or handwritten on the verso with information such as the location of the studio, a date, or the name of the person portrayed. There are three tintype photographs. With the exception of two 8 x 10" portraits, all the photographs are approximately 2.5 x 4" the standard size of carte de visite photographs.
