Scope and Contents
The AFAM Press and Publicity Files were compiled by Susan Flamm, the Musuem's long-time Director of Public Relations. The press files include the majority of the print publicity published between 1972-2011, ranging from newsprint to magazines and othe printed matter.
Newspaper from before 1980 has been preservation photocopied.
The material covers all of the American Folk Art Museum's major exhibitions, as well as events such as house tours, quilt festivals, auctions, and more.

The collection is open for research. Access to sensitive materials may be restricted at the discretion of the American Folk Art Museum.

The AFAM Press and Publicity Files are owned by the American Folk Art Museum. The collection is subject to all copyright laws, and is dedicated to public use for research, study, and scholarship.
