Series I: American Folk Art Sculpture, 1970s-1990s
Scope and Contents
This series includes research on American folk art sculptural and decorative objects such as cigar store figures, ship figureheads, musical instruments, and weathervanes. The research includes photographic documentation, often before and after restoration, and correspondence regarding the objects. Many of the objects are in the collection of the American Folk Art Museum.
